These dice are very colorful and soft. My granddaughter loves to chew on it. However, when I received them, they were tightly packed in a heavy plastic bag which caused them to be a little wrinkled. Also, they had a very strong bad smell, like the smell of a shower curtain when you first open it. However, I put the blocks in warm, soapy water in hopes of getting rid of the smell. After drying, I let them air out and turned them on each side daily for a week and a half. Now the block no longer smells. The blocks are back to normal and now I keep them in a plastic container and discard the bag they came in.
