Still works after two years!
My CTS had phantom clicks on my screen like an invisible hand was constantly clicking on random menus. My stereo switched modes, my air conditioner changed on its own. It was very annoying. After a complicated operation I put this replacement encoder in and everything was back to normal! Works two years after installation! I was able to replace the encoder as an extremely handy person, but I wouldn't recommend this as a DIY project for someone with no electronics experience.
