The only difficulty in installing this mod was where and how to place the exposed wires in the controller so they don't bend or break, and snapping the controller back into one piece and tightening . Also, it was pretty easy to install. It's definitely worth the effort because the end result looks pretty cool. I'm impressed and satisfied. The buttons look and feel good, and the thumb grips are nice and firm. Update It only lasted 30 minutes of gameplay before it crashed. The cables are too long and difficult to lay in the controller. The LEDs on the joysticks have disconnected and shorted out the LEDs. I had to remove them because it also kills the battery. Took them off and reassembled the controller and the playstation registered the controller as a fully charged battery. It's a good idea if it runs for more than 30 minutes, but still not difficult to put together. Update 2 I'm giving this a second chance and bought a new kit. I want to try something and see if it works the second time if I want to. Update 3: I would not recommend it. I'm not new to this stuff, but it won't be long. This time the motherboard is blown. I had to buy a new controller. The only thing I did differently was implement better cable management.
