OK I have a car with a structured dashboard. I have used the "Vent Phone Mount" for a long time. Buying a bigger and more expensive mobile phone made me look for a better solution or give up using a car air vent and the risk of breaking the slats in the air vent. The suction cup itself held the mount in place, but didn't hold it when the phone was placed in the mount. So, Plan B. I used the disk that came with the manufacturer. At first I had issues with the phone hanging loose during installation, but I soon realized it was due to all the adjustment features built into this mount! After spending a few minutes repositioning and tightening the position, I got the mount of my dreams. I also have airflow from the vent, win win, especially now that I need air conditioning. This product is absolutely worth its price. My dear phone is safe now. I LOVE the cradle! I no longer reach for my phone on bumpy roads. Both hands on the steering wheel!
