This material is great for motorcycle leathers, especially if you're like me and get wet easily while riding. It makes the skin softer and smoother and naturally helps with waterproofing. The skin is still wet on the outside, so it will be cold, but you will feel dry yourself. Needless to say, perforated sections or vents allow water to get in. The only complaint is that this stuff leaves a slight white residue on black leather and no matter how you buff it it won't go away except for a few days. .If you have pieces of plastic on your leather items, they will also show white spots from the spray. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.
