Please don't repeat my mistake. This 2TB was bought from WOOT and broke my heart and stole my memories for 1 month. Never before have I experienced such rapid memory and choice loss. After I started migrating my previous (and currently still reigning) KODAK 1TB hard drive, I was in the midst of migrating an important video project. After a serious freeze during the transfer, I was forced to restart my computer when there were no other options. I regret to inform you that this CD is no longer available. I've tried many cases, cables, a dozen different devices to test, multiple ports, software options. Nothing. THIS DRIVE IS THE COFFIN. In the process, I lost a large project and several files that I may never recover. I'm usually the backup king, but I only set up this drive for projects. I am extremely disappointed. Do your research as others have said. This was a WOOT purchase and I will not repeat.
