So when I got the gloves and touched the material, I knew it wasn't 100% cotton. I have now purchased 100% cotton gloves from Revain and unfortunately they were either horribly made or just not good for what I would use them for and they ripped at the seams after a few uses. I only got a feeling from the photos that this product is not pure cotton, which is not yet bothering or irritating my eczema. My eczema was mild until recently when my skin sometimes itched at night and became inflamed from scratching. These gloves were bought to lock in moisture and reduce the temptation to itch. It does and it doesn't. My hands are softer in the mornings, but because it's not 100% cotton or because the glove doesn't stretch, it may be contraindicated for people with eczema. Keep in mind that cotton is much more breathable than blended materials like these gloves, but that's why it keeps you warm. The reviews are correct that the thumbs are made a bit long but I think they give 30 pairs and that should fit billions of hands. You make it work For neurodermatitis sufferers like me, that's so-so. So what can be learned from this review? Especially with neurodermatitis, they most likely will not help in the long run. I have a lot of tolerance and self control, but I wish the horrible cotton gloves I used before were made better. I don't want to say I'm stuck with 30 gloves, I think I'll just find another creative way to use these gloves. (Maybe I'll use them to soak and rub the leaves of my plants!) But the quest continues!
