I like that they are open minded about what we need from them even if it’s something outside of their specialty! Also because you can have input during development this often results at higher quality work which makes everyone happy especially after seeing some shoddily done design samples by other companies (including those without designers!).
We don't necessarily use all everything our vendors provide us but when i do there's nothing wrong specifically as far backfilling goes which allows me trust my vendor more than any previous employer did since that isn;t how most people get paid -_- The best part of working at Shaws+Scott was that it gave me an opportunity where I could work from home as well! It's also very flexible when you have time off or need some extra hours during weekdays since there are no set schedules here like most companies do nowadays (I'm not saying this negatively). Sometimes my manager would be too busy so she wouldn't respond quickly enough which made things difficult sometimes but overall everything has been great thus far!!
