Range/Countertop Gap Filler

These silicone strips fit perfectly between the rim of my gas range and the countertop. I bought these to keep liquid and crumbs out of this room. Problem solved! In addition, they are easy to remove, wash and replace and are affordable. What I don't like is how they look on my new quartz countertop; they are wide. I thought about trimming them so they fit more in the gap and not on the counter.
