This is a great kit for someone who has very little experience with nail design. There are several shades of nail polish that coordinate with the designs provided in the accompanying book. I wouldn’t say the quality of the nail polish itself is great, but it does the trick and you do get 6 shades. The tools seem well made and the directions are very simple to understand. The book does suggest applying clear nail polish (not included) to the designs after they’re finished. I feel like the clear polish should have been included in the kit, but I guess it’s easy and cheap to get it yourself and most people already have a bottle lying around. This would be a great gift for a little girl and would provide hours of fun
