Review on 💻 Sabrent CB 1284 Parallel Connectors: High-Speed IEEE 1284 Device Connectivity by Mark Crawford

I have an old HP Laserjet 6L printer that works fine apart from a poorly designed page feed (only one page at a time or feeds multiple pages even after cleaning). I hooked it up to an old PC that still had a printer port. That PC is history, and the newer one doesn't have a printer port at all. The printer drivers were installed first and then connected to the printer cable via this USB to 25 pin connector and it works like a charm. The printer was first turned on and then connected to the USB port. It took a long time to install the drivers, but after about 3 minutes my Windows 7 64-bit PC had a beautiful green tick in the taskbar. I then proceeded to print out the document from the website.
