To be honest this is a great little camera. None of the features are as great or advanced as on a much more expensive camcorder. But it was $129. For the type of video I shoot I'd rather have 5 of these for footage and angles than a really expensive camera. Frame rates are great, resolution options are good. I'm sure it's not the best 4k picture out there, but the benefits for me far outweigh those of a super expensive camera. We make a lot of crazy videos and often endanger our equipment. And while we don't like losing gear, it's easier to deal with when it's not that drain on the budget. All my test shots so far have been great. Nice and understandable. The sound isn't perfect with the included mic, but the overall package is cheaper than a decent mic alone. We also do this with action cameras. I have $80 action cameras that shoot the same high quality video as a $400-$600 GoPro. The audio isn't that great, but we have the audio gear for it. In general. I got more than I expected from an unbranded budget camcorder and I'll probably get more. Read the descriptions and understand what you need for the video. Don't expect to get gold for the price of tin and know what you want from a camera. This is the best way to manage your budget. If you don't want to use certain features or have specific requirements, don't pay extra for it. Too many people, especially beginners, get drunk on gear thinking that everything they need to make a good video needs to be up to date. Burning your budget and emphasizing expensive things you may not need simply negatively affects the quality of your content. This camcorder is what it is and does what a $100-$150 camcorder is supposed to do. If you're looking for a Hollywood production camera, this isn't it. but if you want to publish quality content online. It might just be a good start. If you know your production needs up front, you'll be far happier with the equipment you buy than trying to buy champagne on a beer budget. You will be disappointed every time.
