Review on 🔌 Leviton 5278-CWP Straight Blade Male Power Inlet Receptacle, 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Gray Nylon Face, Body, and Strap by James Sevenfourgd

I struggled with this thing for 2 hours today to get it in the recommended box. First the wire locking screws will be closed, so you need to turn counter clockwise carefully. I ripped off a screw on the first one. My fault for not taking a closer look at the tightening process. But the real problem was constantly shortening the cables going into the box because the connector was taking up an insane amount of space even without a cable. I used external cable 12/2. After putting everything in the box, I had to screw the foam pad and panel onto the box. My problem is the design. This product requires an approximately 1" deep box. Once in the pits, I did a continuity test and after that everything went fine. If I do it again I won't be using the metal box which only made things worse. Once installed it worked great, I just don't care much about design.
