This tripod is incredibly high. If you're looking for extended range, this is for you. I'm 6ft 8" and need a step stool if I want to get it to the max height. The build quality is excellent, the carbon fiber legs are well made and the leg fasteners are smooth and very strong. The only two minor nits I have with a tripod are the following. Very short spikes included. To attach them you need to remove the rubber foot. This exposes the underside of the tripod and there is little to no protection between the tube and the ground once the spikes are in place. Most likely I'll buy the really necessary spikes and some thick rubber washers to protect the legs. The second point is the extended corners of the legs. I wish the first setting of the wider leg angle was a little narrower. Overall though, this is a fantastic tripod. I will definitely buy more from this brand.
