Review on Exploring Nature with Wild Kratts Creature Power Chris by Marvin Short

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The vest is neat but small and the gloves are huge and useless

Ok this is indeed a 2 star design with a 5 star fun factor that balances it all out to 3 stars overall. The vest is best of all. The front is well done. The colored pieces are actually different colored fabrics sewn together. Transparent plastic for the power of being is crystal clear. The velcro on the side and shoulder strap on the sides are awesome so you don't have to try to pull the vest over your head. Now for some cons - it's a thick material that doesn't seem to breathe well and the back of the vest has green rubber panels instead of the nice green fabric on the front. It's also quite small. I don't see it being suitable for a 6 year old as it would hardly be suitable for a 4 year old. Gloves are pretty much useless. The fingers are very long and the hands do not fit well in them. The finger can go halfway. They actually look pretty neat, but since the fingers are sooooo long, they're pretty much pointless. My son wears them a few times and sometimes doesn't want the hassle so I don't have to wear them. Looks funny and it is. Make no mistake, this isn't a well-made set, but it's not terrible either. It's fun for kids to play with and pretend to use creature powers. It's a must have for Wild Kratts fans like our kids and while I have major issues with it I'm glad we bought it. By the way, it featured the power discs of a kangaroo and a giraffe. Instead we got a Tasmanian tiger and a ring-tailed lemur, which was amazing to us.
