Review on ๐ŸŒŒ WINICE Remote Control and Timer Design: Seabed Starry Sky Rotating LED Star Projector for Bedroom - Night Light for Kids, Moon Lamp Night Color for Children, Baby, Teens, Adults (Blue) by Brandon Roberts

Nice, need a translation, NOT $32!

My granddaughter wanted a night light to fall asleep and not being a 'baby' as she says she wanted something else. I agreed as we spend this time together reading, praying and then turning off the lights. When we saw this light we liked it because it had interchangeable scenes, a remote control, a timer and could be charged so it could be wireless. and she had no dangling cord to wrap around when she took him to sleep with her father. This was until I discovered the cord was very, very short - 5 inches and not plugged into the outlet! You should have it plugged into a USB port! I thought how strange! You really need to charge this night light before using it and it never stated how long it took to charge. The included instructions were on a small 2ยฝ x 2ยฝ card printed in Chinese only, with no accompanying English translation, either on the card itself or on a separate card. Full disclosure, there is a demo on Revain's order page, but it is absolutely NOT sufficient and you cannot call the demo a how-to/how-to. When I opened the box I found a very cute blue fish already assembled and ready. turned on if you could figure out which switch to click or press. Suitable for small children as shown. But when the child is older, you can remove the body of the fish, and inside there will be a round cylinder. The box contains 6 different scenes with planets, happy birthday and I love you with cartoon characters, lanyard and remote control as described. They forgot to tell you how to take off the body of the fish to get to the cylinder in English! However, there is a step-by-step guide in Chinese. I tried to twist, twist, lift, but I couldn't take it off. I ended up tearing the case off between the top and bottom with a thin knife and gently rocking it back and forth in two or three places and then finally took it off! When I did that I saw a groove where you kinda had to grab the top with both hands and hold the bottom edge (with your knees or a vise or have someone hold the bottom edge) and then twist it to the right to get your to solve. How would I know without reading the instructions? I would have packed it all up and sent it back when I first saw that I had to charge it from a USB port if my granddaughter hadn't helped me set it up. and said that everything is fine, we have a lot of USB chargers, what should have been done? This was part of her BD gift. After removing the body of the fish I found the drum to be as advertised and changing the backdrop with the other film provided was relatively easy. Now turning on the light and fiddling with various buttons was awkward to say the least. The power button was about the size of this one ๐ŸŒ‘ and tucked almost to the side and ยพ behind the center, nothing to indicate it was a power button. Above the power button closer to the center are two buttons labeled "A" and "B". If you can't read Chinese, you have no idea which key does what. You have to assume they have something to do with the lighting, you might be right, but how long do you have to press each button for the lights to work as advertised? All by trial and error. However, if you have the patience to figure it out and try the light, it gets pretty nice. You can choose from multiple color options, the carousel spins or stands still. Even without a remote control, you can turn on the light, rotation and timer function by pressing the B button, and the light will turn off automatically after 1 hour. All without reading instructions (by trial and error). My granddaughter's bedroom is about 11 ยฝ x 11 feet with 10 foot ceilings and I placed the lamp closer to her closet in the back of the room rather than in the middle of the room and the planets filled the bedroom beautifully! Where we put the bed it looked like it was looking up at the sky. You could see the planets clearly, they were also spinning at a very good speed. I think the $32 price tag is a bit steep, especially with my above issue and ridiculous charging cable. a normal socket instead of a USB plug for safety! For example, after this criticism, I will contact Revain as soon as possible and ask for it! Thanks for your time.
