Great camera. I have had this camera for almost three years now. When he worked, he took fantastic photos. The closeup was very good. All functions worked well, except for the video, it was less efficient. Sometimes it turned off when the video button was pressed and the image quality was lower than the camera's image quality. However, I was not given a video camera. The camera was dented and held up well until my 2 year old threw it across the room. Now picky about focusing. I mentioned that my 2 year old is across the room. It was a very good throw. I would say that overall the camera worked well. If Nikon hadn't added video capability, or if it worked better, I would easily give this camera 5 stars. I would buy this camera again and store it in a better place upstairs.
