They used to make these parts out of real metal. And they kept going. No longer. Now everything is plastic. And this company is called American Standard. If this is the "standard" then we have serious problems. I had to order two of these because the first one broke, broken worse than the part it replaced. Luckily the second one was intact. I can wash the potty again. Hooray. You need to get back to making these things strong, not cheap.
