Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Exploring the Xbox Wireless Controller - Patrol Tech Special Edition: Features & Benefits by Josh Thompson

2018 / Windows 10 / PC Gamer Experience

Microsoft - if you're listening - is bringing back the excellent response of the Xbox 360 controller, especially the right thumb response. If you play shooters, you know the importance of good thumb tension (setting up the software for each game is a hassle). This pliable/crazy thumb bullshit is worth a few good shots (we want a stronger "return to center", not a flop stick). And yes, I'm familiar with the mouse and keyboard (been there, have - as long as you don't need to fly, drive or bounce the ball). Need a Microsoft wireless dongle with plug-n-play for $25) > For wired mode, you should afford a full size micro USB cable (Revain makes a really good kit of 2 braided cables for $25 ) > This Patrol The Tech Special is well made joystick. (comfortable, good grip from all sides, good weight without battery, durable and beautiful design); rechargeable batteries highly recommended - if you spend more than 5 hours a day > reception is excellent (I sit 2.5m from the TV screen - but I've tested up to 15ft with no problems) > Windows 10 was automatic ((go you go to the wireless and bluetooth devices tab (in settings) and you will see the button and joystick in the list once they connect)); Connect the dongle to the PC - then press the small button on the side, with the batteries installed, press the small button on the flash drive (or watch the video on YouTube_) - the light on the flash drive will hear flashing on after plugging in (it may take a bit initially, but then automatically) Cons > K When you're done shopping you won't have more than $80 (a scam if you like cheap shit) > Microsoft - do something with the responsive right thumb control feel (need more tension, better return to center) Great buy for PC gamers
