Not worth the extra price

Patrol Tech Controller works great! I got this controller because the one I got with my system was showing some wear and I really liked that blue on blue design. Just plug it in and all the buttons do what they're supposed to do. ONE YEAR LATER: The controller is still working fine, but sometimes I found my controller would shut down for no apparent reason. Or the Xbox icon on the controller shows it's connected but isn't responding. These issues are not common, but can be annoying if youโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Includes Bluetooth technology for gaming on Windows 10 PCs and tablets
Cons
  • Poorly designed

disappointed again.

First the cons. Overpriced and I got better quality by request. This is a replacement remote that I got because the original remote came and literally stopped working before I plugged it in. A similar problem occurs with this one. It hasn't been dropped, broken, damaged or abused and here we are again with the free USB plug-in that comes out from time to time. I'm beginning to understand why these remotes aren't being bought when they don't appear anymore. The thumbsticks have seen little useโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hold onto your target with a textured grip; Compatible with: Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Xbox One, Windows 10
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Great Controller for Windows

My old Xbox One controller was spilled on the tile floor and didn't survive. I was looking for another one and settled on this one. I'm using it with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit with the Microsoft Xbox for Windows Wireless Adapter that I already had from my original controller. Setup was quick and easy right out of the box. Part of me wondered if "increased comfort" and "rubberized grip" were just marketing gimmicks, but it feels more comfortable and secure in my hands. It feels "sticky" enough in myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Play your favorite games on Windows 10 PCs and tablets; Plus twice the wireless range (tested with an Xbox One S console).
Cons
  • Long delivery time

2018 / Windows 10 / PC Gamer Experience

Microsoft - if you're listening - is bringing back the excellent response of the Xbox 360 controller, especially the right thumb response. If you play shooters, you know the importance of good thumb tension (setting up the software for each game is a hassle). This pliable/crazy thumb bullshit is worth a few good shots (we want a stronger "return to center", not a flop stick). And yes, I'm familiar with the mouse and keyboard (been there, have - as long as you don't need to fly, drive or bounceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Experience the improved comfort and feel of the Xbox Wireless Controller
Cons
  • Some bugs
