Excellent quality product. It is excellent for covering an "open" surgical wound after applying sterile medicinal Manuka Honey to the incision with gauze strips. Bandages also worked well over gauze soaked in Dakin's solution. But wound healing is faster after switching to manuka honey. Honey is applied directly to the wound and to the gauze placed over the wound, after which this islet dressing product is applied. These bandages have an excellent grip on the skin at the edges. Edges around the center pad (unlike some other brands that don't stick well). They stay in place even with a lot of sitting and standing abdominal movements if a bandage is applied to the center of my abdomen. They should work well elsewhere too. Make sure you get the size you need (it's 5 x 8 inches including the adhesive hem as the bandage is smaller). I have ordered them twice (so far) for the dressing of my recent surgery. incision and will not hesitate to apply it if this type of dressing is ever needed again.
