I'm a super skinny kinda tall guy.(30" waist, 5'11") I wanted some around the house jersey pants. I read the description for sizing, looked like a small would do for a high water waist tight fit. but then I read to order a size or 2 larger for a baggy fit. I was going to order a medium but the small and large shipped sooner so I got a large as i'd rather them too loose than too tight.It was the perfect fit, Its loose not baggy like I wanted, but I actually ended up like the loose fit more than the baggy. It tapers down significantly at the ankles, but there are zippers there to open a slit in the legs up to about 8". The waistband fits tight on me, I don't need to use the draw strings at all unless I'm running with heavy things in my pockets. Speaking of which, the pockets are zippered. Every pair of jersey pants I've had before had pockets that items often fall out of when I'm sitting, going up stairs, or even lightly jogging. I don't have to hold my phone in my pocket when I'm taking my dog for a walk, and the tighter fit keeps my keys from bouncing off my thighs with my step like a metronome.I'm ordering a second pair, these pants are great. But I've got the feeling if I ordered small, this review would be the complete opposite. I cannot stress enough, order larger than you think.
