I received this to replace the original water pump on my water bowl which died after prolonged use. It was bowl compatible and even had a cool LED light that lit up the water too. I was happy until this morning when I was feeding the cats and noticed the pump wasn't working after only two months of use. Full water plate, light still works but no pump. In other words, it's not built to last. I am very disappointed because without the pump the water bowl does not work. I tried cleaning it but there were no clogs or apparent reasons why it stopped.
