This microphone is incredibly easy to set up. This is the ultimate plug and play! Just plug it into your host device (an iPad Pro in my case) and clip the mic to your shirt and you're good to go. Recording was easy and the sound quality itself was decent. My only problem was that the volume was too low. I used this to create a video in iMovie and even at 400% volume it still wasn't strong enough to use the background music even though I reduced the music volume to 1%. If the host device has an additional amplifier, this could possibly work. It's a shame because otherwise I really like the product. It's a nice simple, not to mention a very affordable, wireless microphone, but unfortunately not for my purposes.
