The mic works well except for the main reason I wanted it. I wanted it to stop picking up sound from my phone. I'm shooting in a crowd and wanted the noise around the phone eliminated, just the mic. It's not like this. The sound from the microphone is good but doesn't stop the noise around the phone. I've used cheap ones that do the job well but don't last long. I spent money to get a better quality product and now it just sits on my desk and is useless.

I tested them on my mobile. I'm very excited to have this new sound recorder in our arsenal. They are very easy to set up and use. Just a few clicks and you're good to go. No need to download an app, just use your phone's default voice recorder. For me, they automatically became the input mic and I was able to use it within seconds of plugging it in. Since the beginning of the pandemic I have had many Zoom meetings with friends and colleagues. Some of those meetings included workouts where I wasn't always near a video device (phone or computer) and therefore the audio wasn't as loud as it should have been.
