I used these to secure the outside finds to the shadow box. These pens are great because they are almost invisible from a short distance. I didn't want the pins to distract from the arrangement itself and they were perfect. They're pretty strong too. They support the weight of a raccoon and possum skull, so I'd say they're pretty sturdy. My only complaint is that they're a bit flimsy and will bend if you try to push them through, but that's to be expected as they're not meant to be visible. Be careful when you press your finger on the little dots at the end.
