Review on Schwinn Thrasher Bike Helmet: Lightweight Microshell Design in Adult, Youth, and Children's Sizes by Adam Jenkins

It may have saved my life or at least my brain. I was cycling when a car did an illegal U-turn on a residential street and crashed into my bike, resulting in the handlebars hitting my collarbone and breaking it (had surgery to attach a metal plate). I remember falling off my bike and hearing a loud bang as my head hit the road. Without the helmet, I'd be a big bastard. I can't really comment on the fall damage (I'm not sure if it was caused by the fall or just normal wear and tear) but as I won't be wearing the helmet I was wearing in the fall which is said to be the hit the ground, 'I'll replace it. I will probably buy the same helmet again once the car insurance says they will cover the cost of a new helmet. In terms of fit, it fit very well and I had no other issues with it.
