I was a little apprehensive about the purchase as it was more than I originally wanted to pay for a monitor stand. Now I'm very glad I went ahead and got it. The storage spaces on either side of the small drawer are perfect for things like an extra mouse pad, magazines, scissors, etc., and the drawer itself is a good size for small items like business cards and paper clips. I would say with confidence that it looks solid and very well built with a nice smooth finish. Finally, as a bonus, my full-size mechanical keyboard fits underneath at the end of the day if I lower the keyboard feet first. I like that a lot, because at the end of the working day my desk looks tidy. I would 100% buy this item again.
