Review on πŸ” Improved Seachem Alkaline Regulator 250g for Optimal pH Balance by Melissa Cunningham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product maintains pH where it is needed

Another excellent product from Seachem. Maintaining the correct PH level is essential and most experts agree that the PH (potential hydrogen) level of the water in your aquarium should match the blood PH level of the fish you keep. Having acidic water around 6.2 prevents me from maintaining an alkaline pH which I need around 7.5. I've tried countless products over the years, crushed coral and whatnot, and for the most part I'm getting close to the sweet spot. where I must be with little hesitation. The great thing about an alkaline regulator is that it contains both phosphate buffers and conditioning agents. There's no cloudy water, and it gets you where you're supposed to be in a matter of days - depending on how much you add, your readings will be between 7.1 and 7.6 when tested. Once you have the correct pH in your tank, simply add it during water changes and voila! no more headaches about getting PH where you need it. Economical to use as a 250 gram container holds 400-800 US gallons (a level teaspoon holds 20 US gallons). The alkaline regulator does exactly what it says on the tin and you'll end up with happier, healthier fish.5 Fins Up!
