My daughter just turned 5 but she is medium height and 8 years old. She's taking her first dance class and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a swimsuit at the dance store. Where she has a long torso, we always have a size issue. I took a chance and ordered size 6-7 as lions stretch a bit. This is perfect for her right now, but she will soon outgrow it. It's not a size issue, just the size I ordered. As we know they fit true to size we will come back to get the next size up when ready. Also, the quality of the fabric is top-notch. It looks expensive but my picky girl was comfortable in it all the time. The skirt is not very see-through and actually serves to cover her bottom to some degree. My daughter loves her Leo very much and I really like its price/quality. Much better than the expensive ones in the store.
