Review on ACE Adjustable Knee Brace: Dual Stabilizers for Weak, Injured, Arthritic or Sore Knee by Vishal Geske

BE CAREFUL with leg and foot supports

I had slight knee pain while walking - not an injury - and I wanted some extra support (support recommended by friends) to stabilize my knee. However, after using it as instructed, I noticed that I was getting more and more pain in my upper calf. At the end of the day I took it off and stopped using it. After the knee healed I still had a very tight and sore calf so I had an x-ray and an ultrasound. You have no knee injuries, but a large hematoma measuring 5 x 8 cm in the upper part of your lower leg. The knee brace hurt my calf when I bent my knee. The brace as I wore it wasn't very tight, but the straps on the back of my knee seemed to be the way the brace cut into my calf muscle enough to cause damage. Now I lie down for 4-6 weeks waiting for my calf to heal. A hematoma has formed that surgery cannot effectively remove, so the only way out is to elevate the leg, apply heat, and follow an anti-inflammatory diet. more like a "sleeve" and has no straps.
