We love our Summer Anywhere Walk Thru. It looks great with our dark wood railing so we're just going to leave it on all the time. It is durable and easy to use. Babies can't rock it down, but 3-year-olds can handle the latch and latch it back in place. I like that the hole was a bit bigger than some we saw. I added 4 packs of Vmaisi Baby Gate Wall Cups on each side protecting the wood corner post and drywall and painting on the other side. It also helped with the spacing of the retaining screws on each side, making it more secure without pulling the screws out far enough to loosen them. I placed the hinge side on the opposite side of the stair railing so we can still use the railing when going through the gate. I added red tape to the counter you pass through to warn people of the tripping hazard. I worried about it, but everyone was fine with it.
