These pads are great! I followed the instructions (Federal Mogul Document #3519) to roll in new pads. I also replaced the brake discs (with original OEM discs) at the same time. I have NO noise issues and these pads provide enough stopping power to engage the ABS on my '99 Tahoe in dry summer weather with 275 tires. . Wide tires with good carvings on a dry paved road in southern summer weather (corresponding to maximum traction) and you need a lot of braking power to actually lock the wheels for the ABS to kick in to prevent locking. These pads make it possible!
