Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would give 3 stars.

3 STARS I would give this product but nobody ever reads these reviews. i have purple First of all I would like to say that despite the flaws I would buy it again. Pros: This thing is very convenient and easy to use. It's a lot less bulky than my big pump and I love that it's cordless. I also love that there are so many settings. This makes it much easier to use. I take it everywhere and pump it up in the car and it's so easy to just sit on the couch after breastfeeding and pump dry. Because it's so small, it fits easily in my purse/diaper bag. It has MUCH more suction power than my Medela insurance. Here the pluses end. Cons: First, silicone flange pads are useless and painful. I was so angry when I first used this thing and thought I wasted my money. After I removed them everything worked much better and didn't hurt as much. The flanges are NOT removable/interchangeable so keep that in mind if you plan to use a nursing bra. I was able to stretch the bra's holes to fit the shelves, but it didn't fit at first. If a drop of milk gets on the flanges, suction performance degrades significantly - I mean ONE DROP. It's so annoying. I've learned to be very careful. Sometimes you have to remove the pump and wipe it down. This makes it difficult for me to wear a nursing bra because it's difficult to keep the pump on the bra that tight and the drip inevitably leaks out. The container will fog up so you can't see if the milk is coming out, making it difficult to tell when you're "ready". And the bottles are wide. You can use your Medela or Dr. Do not exchange Browns bottles. And finally, the pipe is kind of sticky or slippery - I don't know how to explain, but it kinda sticks to things and can cause you to knock over bottles if you're not careful. Also dog hair, lint, human hair, everything sticks to the hoses because of the stickiness. All in all, I still really like this pump for the price and convenience. I've learned to adjust to imperfections because the bulkiness, lack of portability, and suction power of my other pump really annoyed me. However, if I knew all the cons, I might have tried to find another small portable pump instead. Hope this review helps someone!
