I've been playing for about a year. I started using a wooden "swinger" spatula that felt good in my hands. I seem to have been playing normally and in this early part of the game it did its job. But after a while I started wanting a new paddle. I was quite confused by the variety of choices. So I started reading reviews and articles, watched some videos etc. I went to Dick to see how they felt in my hand. I tried other racquets that I borrowed from people I played with for a few rounds. None of the blades seemed to speak to me. I didn't like some at all, preferring old woodwork to them. Something about this Bainbridge seemed right to me. I liked the fact that it was rimless and I liked the color. The price also seemed right, with similar sound characteristics as well as size and weight compared to paddles twice the size. So, after much hesitation, I finally clicked the buy button. As soon as I received it I gave it a try and was very surprised at how much better I felt playing with it. Faster reactions, good power and good control. I've had it for about a month and I hope it lasts and is long lasting. Only time will tell. This is a real review just so you all know. For some reason I'm always wary of stuff like this with all these fakes these days ;)
