Review on OXO Grips Toilet Brush Replacement by Peter Sullivan

I was glad OXO sells replacement brush heads because it would be silly to buy a brand new toilet stick, brush and storage case set. But to be honest, I'm not sure I would go down this path again. When I looked inside the canister (I have an OXO Hideaway Compact) it was gross at the bottom (looks like rust?) and my efforts to clean it weren't very productive. I ended up feeling stupid putting in a new, clean brush. It does come off, but at least the brush is clean and the thick part of the canister isn't touching it, nor is it visible from the outside - but I think next time I'll just change it entirely. My advice? See how terrible your stash is before you decide not to buy a new set!
