I was amazed that this doorbell works as well as it does at such a low price! It was so easy to install and worked immediately! The instructions are generic so don't pay too much attention to them. I pried open the body on the transmitter and the only thing I didn't like is that the battery is UNDER the circuit board so SAVE the little screwdriver that comes with the doorbell-- you will need it to change the battery. Other than that, we love the doorbell. It has lots of different sounds available but we just stuck with the original chime that you will hear when you first use it. I also like that the receiver that plugs into a wall socket has a blue ring light that pulses when the doorbell button is pushed! Not bad at all for such a small price! The RANGE on the doorbell button is terrific!- We tried it all the way down the hall before mounting the pushbutton on the outside wall. DING DONG! It is just perfect for our needs!
