I love this item! He sharpens my ceramic and stainless steel knives. I also tried sharpening scissors. The scissors are sharper, but it was a little awkward to sharpen because they are not straight scissors; I just didn't want to buy a new pair. so i love it! Mainly because I find it versatile when you can find other SAFE things to sharpen.
