They're a bit thinner than I'd like, but they don't look or feel cheap and feel more like cotton than many other three-stripe socks I've tried. I am shoe size 7 (women, US, thinner than average calf) and the heel of the toe is slightly higher than my actual heel, but I can get it to the correct size and the foot of the toe is not loose. . Can't speak to durability yet as I've just tried them on but I'll edit the review if they don't hold up. Perfect for any costume and good enough for everyday wear.
