Review on 🐠 Uniclife Aquarium Air Pump with Dual Outlet & Accessories for 100 Gallon Tanks: Efficiently Oxygenate Your Tank! by Erin Dudley

I know my headline sounds overly dramatic, but I'm not kidding. I had a Tetra whisper pump that claims to be quiet and the difference between it and this Uniclife is night and day. My 20H tank is in my office, 3 feet from my desk. I decided to have an air stone in my aquarium mainly with guppies as they stayed up quite a bit and gulped air despite my Aqua Clear 50 HOB filter. So adding an air stone helped the guppies a lot and they immediately stopped gulping air from above; so I knew I had to deal with an air stone for her and was scared of the noise. Of course I tried this Tetra pump and thought I'm going crazy, it was loud as hell. I used it with one of those 4" teal stripes, FYI. The combination was deafening. I couldn't even think about doing my job. I knew I should try something different. This one is just wonderful. I have about one 3" piece of air tubing inserted into both outlets and used a check valve on each, then connected them to a tee and connected a long air tubing to the tee on the other side and then air to the stone itself. Of course I hear a slight hum, nothing that would be a problem or even horribly noticeable if you listen for a few seconds (I forgot that). .as I typed) and it's coming from a person who is very easily annoyed by noise.I set the airflow to about half, even on the highest setting it's still a lot quieter than the Tetra pump.Note j however, that the bubbles are not very plentiful on the low setting. So if you have 20 gallons at the higher setting, you should definitely use a medium or higher setting. The sound coming from the air stone is just beautiful and relaxing. the sound of soap bubbles, not like before, like a small freight train coming out of a cistern! I love how good the bubbles are from this type of air stone and will definitely be buying them in the future. The stone is very heavy making it easy to place and stay where you want it. I can't speak to the durability of this pump but for the price I will happily replace it from time to time to get this one if needed. The silence comes from the air pump, which I didn't even think was possible.
