Review on 🦍 Gorilla Gripper 44009 GP 22mm: The Ultimate Tool for Effortless Heavy Lifting by Brian Garrett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing leverage and better security! MDF and drywall too!

Last year after moving into our new home, I ordered a 2x4 supply from a local lumber dealer, a bundle of 1/2" and 3/4" plywood and a whole 3/4" MDF whole sheets 4x8". The MDF was obviously the heaviest, I had to somehow slip it through a bulkhead door that barely fit and slide it down. Even then I was struggling and woke up in severe pain the next morning (I'm in my late 30s. Still, I wish I had had this grip back then!I WAS AMAZED at how easily it handles lighter 4x8 reeds with no issues.Well, as for MDF, if you're not a big lifter and can turn 50lbs easily, you still will find it difficult to lift off the ground BUT it makes it much easier to slide and has leverage and also doesn't feel like it's going to fall off.I've used it to move the leaves and am looking for more Plywood so it's easier to move next time. Mine was heavy duty plastic and I'm not sure why people are complaining but it seems to work great. If you're working with MDF or 3/4" heavy sheet metal for a large project, I'd go two for two. I'm sure it will make the ascent much easier. This is similar to forearm slings. This reduces Stress possible injuries and just saves time Thinking about moving the big MDF boards next time I will build a simple flat cart but with a bigger tire to roll it around my yard As long as you are on one end you should have no problem moving heavy objects. For most projects involving plain plywood, this handle is a must!area if you tilt it too far while holding it.
