Not for every one. good for me

I knew this when buying it but others might not, your hand receives the same shock. Your hand and where ever you press the pen complete the circuit. Tens unit is sadly still a better option. I decided, given the price it was worth it to see just how much you feel it in your hand. If you can get past the hand getting shocked and know where to apply it to actually get it to work it's not horrible. Definitely wouldn't recommend for some one who doesn't understand what to expect. It can help but it also has the potential to hurt if you don't know what you are doing.

No need for medications, injections, or other invasive medical procedures

Cons

It may not be effective for individuals with nerve damage
