I am a licensed cosmetologist and was looking for inexpensive extensions to add my pages to cover up some of the damage I had when they grew out. I bought a 16 inch ombre blonde and dyed it with Pravana Straight Dye as soon as I got it. The tape held up after dyeing and washing before application. They were submitted on March 26th and now on May 7th. I haven't lost a single hair from them and not a single piece of ribbon has come loose or fallen out. I trimmed my hair a bit after applying it, but haven't done it since and there are hardly any split ends. The hair was curled, braided, air dried, etc. and it was gorgeous. They tangle a little more than my natural hair and aren't the best hair I've ever worked with but they are great quality for the price and I would recommend them. I could probably reinstall it 2 or 3 times before it was done. (The semi-permanent paint I used faded to blue over time, this has nothing to do with the quality, the porosity is pretty good). They also air dry with a wavy/loose curl that matches my natural wave almost exactly.
