The phone deserves three stars but for the low price it gets four. I bought this model to connect to the obi voip box with google voice. The family uses cell phones for everything so it's just a spare second line and used sparingly. The phone is as simple as it gets. The menu is simple with few options to customize. The sound quality is acceptable but usable. A nice feature is the handset search button on the base, which is visible when the phone is switched off. The range is enough to cover the entire interior of my home. I haven't tried walking down the street to see when it falls out. A couple of minuses - the buttons are hard to press and the base is too light. Dialing too fast usually results in a missed number. Slow, deliberate pressing is necessary to ensure you're dialing correctly. The base, even when the phone is charged, is very light and easily tips over. Of course, a wall mount can help here. Despite its shortcomings, the phone has been a reliable backup for a number of months. I don't think you can find a lower priced cordless handset than this one. I would buy this again.
