Same problem as many others. Structure: [1 cable from the router to one of the two slots of this splitter -> a cable from one side of the splitter to one side of the other splitter -> a cable from one of the two slots of the other splitter to the device]. That works great! As soon as you plug another cable into another free slot, either on the splitter on the router side or on the splitter on the device side, the internet goes out. Go with a switch instead. 2 stars only because they reached out to me with a friendly message after I initiated the return process.
