I have 1/8" and 1/4" boards, some plastic some hardboard. I don't like putting 1/8" hooks into 1/4" boards because they never fit exactly. And I've had no luck with plastic hooks, especially the "box" hooks that would be so useful if they didn't keep falling out of the holes. So I bought this set of 1/8" hooks to use only with 1/8" MDF boards. And for that purpose they are excellent. You get plenty of choices (including a 6-ring screwdriver stand, which can be as little as $5 if bought separately, and those very useful ring-shaped plier holders), they fit snugly and feel solid in your hand. I found only one broken item in the first box opened (I bought two packs): a missing stabilizer for one of the big hooks. At $18, that's a lot, assuming you're using them on a 1/8" board. On a 1/4" board, they may be loose and prone to falling out.
