I needed these for hospital shower shoes during my pregnancy. I am a size 9.5 and my husband is a size 10, so I ordered up to get his size so that we could share to try to save money. If I had ordered my actual size, I don't think these would have fit. My foot barely fits in the strap on the top. It is very snug. My husband will probably just stand on top of the straps in the shower. I love the massage bumps on the top though. I wear them carefully and slowly around the house so as not to trip on the extra shoe since they are too big for me otherwise. So good for my pregnant feet! I have not tried them in water yet, but they do not slip on my floors. I tried to slide my foot, and it would not budge.
