Fits the description completely, very satisfying.
The lens caught with a strong front focus. I managed to fix this by soldering the jumpers inside. For those who are interested, look for the "EF 50mm F/1.8 II Self-Adjustment Guide". Focus misses much less frequently now. I shoot mostly at aperture 2.2-4.0. I advise everyone to understand what a fix with a constant aperture is. Now I would buy a Canon EF 50 f / 1.4 USM. I use it on crop (550D).

- Price, aperture, beautiful bokeh after the 18-55 whale lens.
Cons
- Frequent autofocus misses, plastic construction.
