The cable itself seems fine. I wasn't a fan of the slightly heavy plastic braid that made the cable difficult to use, but it was something I might not have noticed. The sound was pretty good as I used it to plug my headphones into the receiver to listen to recordings. Unfortunately, this item appears to have had serious quality control issues. The first thing that happened to me stopped working: the stereo sound stopped working, instead only the left side worked. I chalked it up as bad luck and requested and received a refund. BUT that replacement didn't work anymore either :( And as it turns out, you can't just get a replacement. I don't play games with Revain, by the way. A bit of a flop from J&D, but actually a BIG flop from Revain.
