The cable works great, feels a bit odd due to the materials used but seems to work well. The plastic cable is a bit stiffer than one might think, but it doesn't seem strong enough to give the plastic long life.

To play backing tracks for my solo guitar gigs, I connect two of these 6 foot cables from my iPad to my Roland amp through a Boss volume pedal. The cables snap in taut and firmly and transmit the sound well. However, the combination of two cables at 12 feet reduces the volume compared to a direct connection without a pedal.

I don't know what else to do but will give my 2 cents. The cable does not fit the headphones. the end is too short and falls out without a latch. But they get stuck in the phone so I don't know who's to blame. My Sony headphones that fit every other 3.5mm cable except this one or I blame this cable that fits everything but my headphones. That's a real cucumber.

This is a cable. It fulfills its function and in operation appears to be well made from quality materials. The downside is that it creases very easily when you try to wind it up. I use it in my family room when watching movies late at night to connect my home theater receiver to my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones so my wife doesn't have to part with the 1000w subwoofer playing sound effects.

$12 had a decent cable in less than 2 months and then the cable was shorted. I've never pinched a cord to roll it up and took good care of it until the sound started dropping out on one side. I found a short about 6 inches from the end and when I measure it the sound turns on but goes off again after I let it hang. Cables deteriorate but with a 30 day guarantee I had to buy another cable.

Beautiful cable so much so you can FEEL the quality and craftsmanship of the cable. The price was also pleasantly cheap, which meant that the length of the products definitely could NOT fool me. A very professional, high quality cable for a very important connection without fear of noise or other unwanted noise when monitoring tracks in the studio. Good job J&D Tech! I will keep you at the top of my list when looking for cables!

This cable from J&D has good workmanship and good connections. I used it to replace the standard cable in the OneOdio Studio 50 headphones. I have a feeling the braided cable will hold up to everyday use. One caveat: I wish I'd ordered a smooth-sleeved cable, as with a braided cable, the sound of the cable being pulled along the edge of a table or transmitted by itself to the headphones. Sitting still is not a problem as long as you don't move. I would like to know if J&D makes a slick jacket…

I bought a BRAND NEW pair of Philips SHP9500 headphones and while I'm glad I got a new pair of open back headphones (they are amazing and SOOOOO comfortable) I SECONDLY paired them with this BRAND NEW one PACKAGE cable into these headphones, it works the same as the original cable. I've swapped this before and the first cable did the same thing, the right ear is cut off from the movement of the cable and to get it to work you have to constantly push to the side. The cable itself seems fine. I wasn't a fan of the slightly heavy plastic braid that made the cable difficult to use, but it was something I might not have noticed. The sound was pretty good as I used it to plug my headphones into the receiver to listen to recordings. Unfortunately, this item appears to have had serious quality control issues.
